1a. First Aid: FAR,CFR COMMUNITY, PHECC CERTIFICATION

3 DAY, 2 DAY, 1 DAY BASIC FIRST AID

Content: Basic life-saving techniques, CPR, wound care, managing fractures, and handling medical emergencies until professional help arrives.

 Format: Classroom instruction, hands-on practice, and sometimes online modules.

1b.Basic Principles of First Aid

This 2 ½ hour Program is designed for entire faculties, to equip the participants with the basic fundamentals of First Aid, which they may encounter in their daily routine. 

2. Manual Handling:

 Content: Techniques for safely lifting and moving objects to prevent injuries,understanding body mechanics, and using lifting aids.

 Format: Classroom sessions, practical demonstrations, and online training.

3. Fire Safety / Warden:

 Content: Identifying fire hazards, using fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation procedures, and roles and responsibilities of a fire warden.

 Format: Classroom training, practical drills, and online courses.

4. PMAV (Prevention and Management of Aggression and Violence):

 Content: Strategies to de-escalate aggressive behavior, personal safety techniques, legal aspects, and managing violent situations.

 Format: Classroom instruction, role-playing scenarios, and practical

workshops.

5. Mental Health Awareness:

 Content: Understanding mental health conditions, reducing stigma,recognizing symptoms, and providing support and resources.

 Format: Online courses, seminars, and interactive workshops.

6. Patient Moving:

 Content: Safe techniques for moving and transferring patients to prevent injury, using mobility aids, and ergonomic principles.

Format: Classroom training, hands-on practice, and video demonstrations.

7. Working at Heights:

 Content: Risk assessment for working at heights, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe working practices.

Format: Classroom instruction, practical training, and online modules.

8. Chemical Awareness:

Chemical Awareness Training equips individuals with essential knowledge on the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous substances in the workplace. This course covers key topics such as identifying hazardous chemicals, understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS), assessing potential health risks, and implementing safety controls to prevent exposure. Participants learn to recognize chemical hazards, apply proper safety procedures, and respond to emergencies involving chemicals. Designed to meet regulatory standards, Chemical Awareness Training ensures a safer work environment by promoting informed, responsible practices around chemicals.

9. Autism Awareness in Young People:

Content: Understanding autism spectrum disorder (ASD), communication

strategies, behavioral interventions, and supporting young people with autism.

Format: on site , PowerPoint , workshop , Suitable for schools teachers, SNA’S

10. Sexual Harassment in the Workplace:

 Content: Identifying and preventing sexual harassment, legal rights and

responsibilities, and creating a respectful workplace culture.

 Format: Online training, classroom sessions, and interactive workshops.

11. Sexualised Behaviour in Adolescence with Autism and Social Difficulties:

 Content: Understanding sexual development in autism, appropriate and

inappropriate behaviors, and providing support and education.

Format: Seminars, workshops, and specialist training programs.

12.Positive Handling training: Dealing with challenging or aggressive behaviour in a school / classroom environment with children with special needs and challenging behaviours, such as Autism, ODD. The training is designed to provide learners, Teachers, SNAs with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to identify, de-escalate and proactively manage crisis situations and behaviour. Suitable for school teachers & SNA’s

The program looks at problem solving difficult scenarios, verbal and disengagement skills (personal safety) including managing the environment. 

We also take a look at setting events and the importance of consistency as a team  approach. 

13. Tailored Safety Training in Site and Machinery Specifics:

 Content: Customized safety protocols for specific sites and machinery, safe

operation procedures, and risk management.

Format: On-site training, hands-on practice, and tailored safety manuals.

14. Risk Assessments:

 Content: Identifying and evaluating workplace hazards, risk analysis,

implementing control measures, and reviewing and updating risk

assessments.

15. SAFETY STATEMENT  Writing or updating a Safety Statement for your business, a Safety Statement must be written, it is based on the identification of Hazards & Risks under the risk assessment, it must specify the manner in which safety, risks, hazards and welfare at work are secured and managed. Every employer must prepare or cause to be prepared, a written Safety Statement.it is an offence not to have a Health & Safety Statement.
